Case Management
Overview
The aims of the Case Management module are to provide participants with the appropriate skills, knowledge and understanding in relation to Investigation and Case Management and the factors that can impact on effective investigation.
Objectives
Delegates will be able to explore how to plan and organise and investigation taking into account the different types of case and the importance of having effective processes in place to manage the investigation.
Record keeping is an important aspect of any investigation and delegates will be able to identify the appropriate method of recording decisions in policy books and action logs.

At the end of the module participants will be able to:
- Plan and organise an investigation
- Understand the impact of the Investigative mind-set
- Identify different types of investigation
- Understand why quality of evidence is important
- Understand the requirements of recording and retention of documents and evidence
- Outline the SARA model of Investigation
- Outline the PAT problem analysis triangle
- Describe the ACCESS model of investigation
- Outline the importance of decision making
- Understand the importance of recording decisions and the use of Policy logs

Who are we?
WRI are an established company who specialise in Brand Protection, Investigation and Training and we have worked with the Police, Trading Standards and a number of well known brands to both protect the rights of the Intellectual Property Owner and to bring to justice those who break the law.
Our trainers are very experienced Retired Police Officers and Trading Standards Officers who have been trained to a senior level within their respective roles.
